I need everyone's help on this one, because I need an awful lot of data, opinions, and paradigms.
If you had to defend a stance that climate change does not exist - how would you do it? What data or facts would you use? What real-life events are relevant?
WOW.. well I dunno thats a tough one to defend. I guess the biggest thing is to research weather timelines and such cause I think they were worried about climates and global warmings back in the 50's or 60's and really it was just some flukey years. Perhaps there is a cycle of these flukes. I remember hearing about that on NPR. This time though it just seems like there is cause the North pole has melted off the size of texas and arizona combined!
This is an odd idea that I was thinking that perhaps the climate is changing but not so much based off of pollution, but the ice caps are melting to produce more water to support life. It could be that these ice burgs and glaciers act like a "reserve" for water. cause look at how much water is in a human... like 70% right? It'd be interesting to calculate how many gallons of water are in the human population alone and see how flooded the earth would really be. If mater can't be created nor destroyed, than water is the most precious element on this earth.

More so than just water being precious - you are right glaciers and icebergs are precious reserves. The problem is that they are reserves of fresh water - and as they melt we are losing that water, it becomes useless to us as humans.
Sadly, I do know for a fact that climate change is indeed occurring and that we will most likely be unable to stop the change from occurring for the next fifty years or so. After that time however, if we act now, we might be able to rewind the clock and put this planet back where it belongs.
Thanks for the ideas!
